These photos don't do justice to the numerous, amazing and unexpected details he creates. Amidst the sprawl are so many accumulations of small ideas, color changes, size shifts, etc. Certainly, Alex has been giving me a lesson in freedom and I take it, like you, to the studio.

That's the obstacle course to contend with. :) Love wooden blocks though; our kids are too old for them, but we can't get rid of them.
I know--wooden blocks are fantastic--and I love the colored one's mixed in with the standard blond colored blocks.
We've been stepping over this masterpiece since Saturday--ah, what we'll do to nurture a young artist at work....
